(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured after a dog ran into the path of his motorcycle Monday morning.

According to a Bedford Police report, 64-year-old William Davis suffered injuries to his head and arm.

Police say Davis was traveling south at the intersection of Oolitic Road and Rawlins A Street when a dog ran in front of his motorcycle. Davis was unable to avoid hitting the dog and was thrown from the motorcycle, landing on the pavement.
