(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell husband and wife were arrested after they were involved in a domestic fight last week.

According to Lawrence County Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, officers were called to a home in the 400 block of Rabbitsville Road after a report of a domestic fight that turned physical.

When police arrived they found 40-year-old Micah Terrell and his wife Megan sitting in a vehicle in a driveway.

Micah was bleeding from his nose and upper lip.

Megan told police Micah had hit her in the mouth which caused her to bump her head on the frame of the car by the window. She then hit Micah in the nose.

Chief Deputy Shoults say they both refused medical treatment.

Officers arrested both on charges of domestic battery.
