(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Community Orchard and Hilltop Garden and Nature Center will sponsor a free class, Growing Native Fruits: Paw Paws and Persimmons, 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Hilltop Garden and Nature Center at 2367 East 10th Street.
Advanced master gardener H. Michael Simmons will cover cultivar selection, sourcing of plants, site selection and preparation, pollination requirements, troubleshooting, harvesting and using the fruit.
