(BEDFORD) - Bedford Fire Department firefighters were called to Hardee’s Tuesday afternoon after an employee reported flames shooting out of the bottom of the restaurant’s hot water tank and a possible gas leak.
According to fire department officials, when firefighters arrived the fire was out.
The restaurant manager told firefighters there were flames coming out of the bottom of the hot water tanks and another employee had shut off the gas to the unit.
Firefighter says the bottom of the hot water tank was blackened but there was no other damage to the restaurant.
