City Of Bloomington Releases Public Alpha For New Website, Calls For Feedback

Last updated on Tuesday, September 15, 2015

(BLOOMINGTON) - The City of Bloomington Information & Technology Services (ITS) Department has announced that it is seeking public feedback on a comprehensive redesign of the City of Bloomington’s website.

The prototype or "alpha" website is available at bloomington.in.gov/alpha. The website team is working with departments to evaluate and migrate content over to the alpha and evolve the design of the website.

ITS Director Rick Dietz stated, "The City's website is an important information resource and destination for government services. Our desire is to work with the Bloomington community throughout the redesign process to ensure the website meets the needs of our diverse community."

During the transition time while the design evolves and content is migrated, the current website at bloomington.in.gov/alpha will remain as the authoritative source of online information for the City.

For more information about the new website process and public beta, please contact Information Technology Services Director Rick Dietz at dietzr@bloomington.in.gov or (812) 349-3485.
