Bloomington Man Injured After Motorcycle Crashes Into Light Pole

(BLOOMINGTON) - A man was injured after police say he was going too fast to negotiate a roundabout and crashed into a light pole.

According to a Bloomington Police report, the accident happened at the roundabout intersection of Sare and Rogers roads at 8:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses told police the driver was traveling too fast to safely negotiate the roundabout.

The motorcyclist struck a curb on the southwest portion of the roundabout, sending both 27-year-old Zachary Medlock and his motorcycle into a light pole.

Medlock suffered broken bones and was unconscious. He went to IU Bloomington Hospital where he was listed in good condition.
