(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was sentenced to nine years in prison last week after pleading guilty to two charges of dealing meth.
Superior Court I Judge Michael Robbins sentenced 32-year-old Cassandra Emmons of Bedford on Wednesday. According to court records, Judge Robbins suspended three years which will be served on supervised probation. She was also ordered to participate in a therapeutic community while serving her sentence at the Department of Corrections.
As part of a plea agreement, two charges of possession of meth and two charges of maintaining a common nuisance were dismissed.
According to a probable cause affidavit, in April, Emmons sold meth - twice - to a confidential informant at the Budget Inn.
