Bedford Motorcyclist Injured In Accident

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was flown by helicopter for treatment after a deer ran into the path of his motorcycle Wednesday.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 62-year-old Paul Guthrie of Bedford was driving his 2014 Suzuki south on Tunnelton Road at 12:58 p.m. when he struck a deer near Buddah Bypass.

Guthrie was wearing a helmet.

He suffered an ankle injury and numerous cuts and bruises to his entire body and other incapacitating injuries.
