Woman Injured After Crashing Into Ditch

(SPRINGVILLE) - A Bedford woman was injured after she took a turn too fast and crashed into a ditch Monday night.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 42-year-old Tracy Lerch of Bedford suffered chest pain following the incident.

According to police, Lerch was traveling north on Harrodsburg Road just after 11 p.m. when she turned her 2001 Ford F-350 left onto Sieboldt Quarry Road, but took the turn to quickly and the pickup went off the south side of the road and flipped onto the passenger side into a ditch.

Lerch was taken by a Seals ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
