(WASHINGTON) - Washington Street Commissioner Erie Evans says a sign replacement project will get underway today.

The Bullet reports all signs and sign posts will be replaced with the exception of no parking and street signs.

Signs to be replaced include stop and speed limit signs.

The posts on signs to be replaced are being marked in orange.

Evans says the new signs will be highly reflective and much easier for motorists to see.
