Three People Arrested After Police Go To Home To Find Wanted Woman

Last updated on Tuesday, August 11, 2015

(BEDFORD) - Three people were arrested Monday afternoon after Bedford Police officers went to a home in the 800 block of Sixth Street looking for a woman wanted on a warrant.

Police went to the home looking for 22-year-old Shandan Eisele who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear.

"When police arrived they asked the resident if they could come in and look for Shandan," says Chief Dennis Parsley. "While there they met 21-year-old Lloyd Noel who told police he was wanted on a warrant and he had marijuana."

Officers arrested Noel on a warrant for failure to appear and possession of marijuana.

While arresting Noel, 53-year-old Jackie Barnes walked into the home.

"Officers told Mr. Barnes it would be just a few minutes and he could come inside," Parsley added. "Barnes wanted to know if they had a warrant, which officer told him no, but they did have a warrant for the person they were looking for and had discovered that Mr. Noel was wanted on a warrant."

Barnes then became verbally combative with the officers.

In the meantime, Eisele showed up at the home and told police she wanted to turn herself in.

"While arresting the two, Mr. Barnes then attempted to push his way into the home and had to be restrained," Parsley says.

Barnes was arrested on charges of resisting arrest and obstruction of justice.
