Six Arrested After Drug Task Force Finds Meth, Heroin

(BEDFORD) - Six people were arrested on drug charges after the Lawrence County Drug Task Force received information about possible drug activity at the home of 27-year-old Daniel and 35-year-old Jeremie True at 4222 South Leatherwood Road.

According to police, after receiving the tip, officer secured a search warrant and with the assistance of the Lawrence County Police Swat Unit went to the home Friday afternoon.

Police found meth, heroin, marijuana, Suboxon strips, which is used to treat opioid dependence, drug paraphernalia and other items associated with dealing drugs.

Police arrested:

  • 27-year-old Daniel True of 4222 South Leatherwood Road, two charges of possession of meth, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance.
  • 34-year-old Eric Cavazos of Indianapolis, possession of meth, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, visiting a common nuisance.
  • 35-year-old Jeremie L. True of 4222 South Leatherwood Road, possession of meth, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance.
  • 44-year-old Angela Carlile of 415 19th St., possession of meth, visiting a common nuisance.
  • 26-year-old Erika Geary of 415 19th St., possession of meth, possession of a Schedule I controlled substance, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, visiting a common nuisance.
  • 36-year-old Crystal Vanhentenryck of 1187 North Pike Road, possession of meth, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance
