(OOLITIC) - Officials have enacted a new drop-off procedure at Oolitic Middle School and Dollens Elementary School beginning Thursday to improve student safety and traffic concerns.
The schools will open their doors at 7:35 a.m. Parents of younger students are encouraged to use the south lot. Parents who choose to use the south lot for drop-off are asked to make a right turn only when leaving the lot.
Parents are also asked to park in the lots east of Hoosier Avenue to pick up their children. Students are asked to use the crosswalk over Hoosier Avenue to enter the parking lot safely.
