Linton Police Investigating Break In At Markle's Music

(LINTON) - Linton Police are investigating the break-in at Markle's Music that was discovered early Thursday morning.

According to Linton Police Chief Troy Jerrell the suspects smashed the window of the downtown Linton business and grabbed a guitar.

Owner Fred Markle says this is the first time in 39 years of business that his store has been broke into.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call the Linton Police Department at (812) 847-4411 or contact Crime Stoppers.

The main phone number is (812) 847-5463 (TIP-LINE). The organization has also implemented a toll-free number so that all Greene County residents have access at no cost to the caller. The toll-free number is (866) 446-4672.

A tipster does not have to provide their name, email or any other personal information in addition to the tip. Tipsters must choose their favorite cartoon character to help identify each tipster when paying a reward.
