(WILIAMS) - Lawrence County police are now taking the lead in the death investigation of 15-year-old Graden McFarlan.

The teen's body was discovered shortly before 11 a.m. Saturday, a fisherman discovered the body in the White River in Williams and contacted police. McFarlan's body was pulled from the water a short time later at the slough near State Road 450.

An autopsy was performed Monday and Deputy Coroner John Sherrill says McFarlan drowned.

Jim Schreck, public information officer for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources' Law Enforcement Division says there are still a lot of questions that are unanswered and they will continue to assist LCPD in finding those answers.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Lawrence County Police Department at (812) 275-3316 or the tip line at (812) 277-2020.

Funeral services for McFarlan are today at Ferguson Lee Funeral Home with visitation from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a private funeral following.
