(SHOALS) - INDOT says drivers will encounter lane restrictions today on the State Road 450 Bridge over Indian Creek near Shoals.
Work gets underway at 7 a.m. with the closure of one lane of the bridge for pavement repairs.
The other lane will remain open with a signal to direct traffic.
When work on the first lane is complete, the driving pattern flips so workers can repair the other lane.
INDOT is banning loads over 11-feet wide until the project is finished, sometime in the first part of December.
