(BLOOMFIELD) - The Greene County Republican Party has set the date for their Bloomfield town nominating convention to be conducted at the Bloomfield Fire Station located at 75 West Mill Street.
The event will take place this evening at 6 p.m. to select candidates to represent the party in the Bloomfield municipal election in the fall.
Facing off for the chance to serve in one seat of the Bloomfield Town Council will be Incumbent Dave Harding and Alex Weathers.
Two candidates contending for the chance to serve the Town of Bloomfield as clerk-treasurer will be Incumbent Sondra Thompson and Jennifer Uland.
All registered voters are welcome to come out, meet the candidates and place their votes.
The winning candidates will run on the Republican ticket and face off against other opponents, if any, during the upcoming election this fall.
Voting is limited to residents who live within the town limits of Bloomfield.
