(BEDFORD) - Congratulations to Bedford Middle School Math Teacher Hope Sowders. Hope was announced the winner of the $1,000 grand prize in the ‘What’s In The Box’ contest.
Sowders was at the Super Oldies WQRK 105.5 FM studios this morning to pick up her cash prize.
"I was in shock when I received the call saying I had won the $1,000," Sowder says. "I never expected to win."
Sowders says she plans to spend some of the money preparing for the upcoming school year and put the rest in savings.
