(BEDFORD) - Christanna Rayhill of Mitchell was named Lawrence County 4-H Fair’s Tractor Supply 4-H Bright Futures Award winner.
Rayhill received a $25 Visa gift card and plaque.
Green Leaf, a Fontanet manufacturer of agricultural products, started the award program last year to focus on gardening at all 92 county fairs in Indiana. Rayhill was named the winner in the gardening program at this year's fair.
"Our 2014 pilot award program focusing on gardening at the 92 county fairs throughout Indiana was extremely successful," says Mary Goda, of Green Leaf Public Relations and Marketing. "As a business in the agricultural industry, this program proved a positive way to give back to our community."
This year Tractor Supply Company became a sponsorship partner and expanded the award from gardening to 4-H youth participating in any agricultural program.
