(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Township Fire Department battled a barn fire Tuesday morning.
According to Lt. Dave Calvin, the barn on Maple Grove Road was filled with more than 300 round bales of hay that fueled the fire.
The barn, which had a tin roof, fell down onto the hay making the inside like an oven.
Once the roof collapsed, firefighters had little choice but to let the fire burn and monitored it so it would not spread.
