Bedford Man Injured After Crashing Motorcycle On State Road 58 Friday Night

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured after he crashed his 2001 Harley Davidson motorcycle into a guard rail Friday night.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 61-year-old Darrell Harrison of Bedford was traveling west on State Road 58 East when he lost control of his motorcycle on loose sand and went off the north side of the highway, striking the guard rail.

Harrison, who was not wearing a helmet, complained of pain to his neck and lower left leg and road rash to his arms, legs and face.

He was taken by a Seals ambulance to the Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital for treatment.
