Bedford Man Arrested At Walmart

Last updated on Thursday, August 20, 2015

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man wanted on a warrant was arrested after Bedford Police officer received a tip that he was at Walmart.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers went to the store and found 28-year-old Kyle Reynolds of Bedford at one of the checkouts at the front of the store.

"He was arrested without incident on a warrant locally for failure to appear and another out of county warrant," Parsley says. "But during his arrest officer found drugs in his pocket."

Officers found a container that had a syringe, a measuring spoon and a cotton ball that all tested positive for heroin.

Reynolds was then charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.

"Then when they were taking him out of the police car at the jail they discovered a piece of foil which contained heroin," Parsley says.
