Two Arrested For Throwing Fireworks Out Of Vehicle

(BEDFORD) - Two people were arrested after police attempted to stop them for lobbying fireworks out of their vehicle window.

According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were on patrol on Eastwood Drive when they noticed two men lobbying fireworks out of the window of a gold Ford.

"The driver fled," Parsley says. "The vehicle was then spotted parked at a home on Central Avenue.

Police arrested 19-year-old Luke Simpson, who was driving the vehicle and his passenger 20-year-old Skylar Simmons, both of Columbus, on a charges of resisting arrest by fleeing.
