Traffic Stop Leads To Felony Drug Arrest

(BLOOMINGTON) - Yesterday evening, just after 5 pm, Trooper Riley Nungester observed a traffic violation and stopped the vehicle on State Road 46 near State Road 37.

The driver was identified as 36-year-old Steve Beadle of Bloomington. Beadle was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license and had previous convictions on his driver's record. Beadle was also found to be in possession of approximately 25 grams of a powder that field tested positive for heroin and over $2,000 in United States Currency.

The street value of heroin was in excess of $5,000.

Beadle was incarcerated in the Monroe County Jail on the following charges;
