Springville Man Injured After Crashing Motorcycle

Last updated on Monday, July 6, 2015

(BEDFORD) - A Springville man was injured after he crashed his motorcycle on Breckenridge Road west of Newton Street, Saturday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police report, 28-year-old Joshua Ingram was traveling west on Breckenridge Road when he lost control of the motorcycle and it went down on its side and skidded along the roadway.

Ingram told police he had just left work and believed he had debris from his workplace on his boots and that may have caused his boot to slip off the foot peg causing the motorcycle to slide.

Ingram complained of shoulder and arm pain and had minor scratches on his left arm.

He was treated at the scene by a Seals ambulance crew, but told officials he would have a family member take him to the hospital.
