(ORLEANS) - The Town of Orleans annually contracts services of Ron Taylor to spray for mosquitoes and town officials is asking area residents especially in light of the unusually wet summer to continue to assist in the battle against mosquitoes.

Residents are asked to keep yards and lots mowed, any brush type items removed, and any type of standing water removed. Old tires should be discarded and rain gutters and down spouts should be checked and cleaned regularly to allow water to flow freely.
