(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell City Council approved an additional appropriation to move $40,000 from the city’s unsafe building fund to the cemetery fund to purchase two new lawn mowers and an off-road utility vehicle that will be used by all city departments.
But mostly the equipment will be used by cemetery workers.
City Clerk Treasurer George James says the city will not spend the entire $40,000 on the equipment, but it will be available if needed.
