(SALEM) - A Fredericksburg man died Thursday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Posey Chapel and Kansas Church roads.
The accident happened around 8:44 a.m.
42-year-old Wade Stephenson was flown from the scene and died at University of Louisville Hospital.
According to police, Stephenson was traveling north in a 1999 Subaru wagon while 19-year-old Jared Portukalian was traveling east in a 2007 Sierra GMC pickup. Police say Portukalian drove through the intersection into Stephenson's path.
The crash remains under investigation by both the Washington County Sheriff's Department and Indiana State Police.
