(BLOOMINGTON) - The Banneker Community Center is hosting a block party from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.
Banneker Center will provide food, music and also will host a talent show. Redeemer Church will provide carnival games and face painting.
North Elm Street, between West Seventh Street and West Eighth Street, will be closed to traffic from 3 to 8 p.m. Motorists should expect to detour.
