Gov. Mike Pence And Attorney General Greg Zoeller To Attend Limestone Heritage Festival

(BEDFORD) - Indiana Governor Mike Pence and Attorney General Greg Zoeller will join local residents in Bedford on Saturday, July 4, to celebrate Independence Day.

Pence is scheduled to make two area appearances Saturday. At 10:15 a.m., he will offer remarks at the Orleans Bicentennial Homecoming celebration. At 11:30 a.m., he will be in Bedford to speak before the parade marches through the city.

The Bedford parade's opening ceremony also will include the grand marshal ceremony honoring Lee Hutchinson and the national anthem, sung by JoAnna Kai Cobb and more than 120 parade entries with the theme "Patriotic Salute to Lawrence County Heroes."

The farmers' market open Saturday at 8 a.m., and some vendors will stick around until 2 p.m.

The celebration will come to an end with a firework display over Parkview Field at dusk.
