Accidental Discharge Of Weapon At Seymour Motel Ends With Man's Arrest

Last updated on Wednesday, July 29, 2015

(SEYMOUR) - The apparent accidental discharge of a weapon in a Seymour motel room Saturday led to the arrest of a man on a charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Police say that the incident that led to the arrest of 35-year-old Joshua Love of Elizabethtown began after the bullet from the weapon lodged in a mirror in a room on the floor below the room where Love was staying with two other men.

Police say that a man, a woman and her two children were in that second room at the Days Inn, in the 300 block of South Commerce Drive, where the bullet wound up, but no one was injured.
