(BEDFORD) - An alleged abductor is no longer a threat.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley declined to give the name of the man police believe abducted a woman on Friday, June 26th on Q/4th Street.
Chief Parsley said this morning the man is no longer at large and was taken in by another police agency on Saturday on unrelated charges. He was then taken to Lawrence County jail.
The man had a prior warrant but no further details were given.
