Washington Man Jailed After Being Escorted From Toyota Plant

(PRINCETON) - A Washington man was jailed in Gibson County Tuesday morning on several charges.

The Gibson County Sheriff's Department received a call from Toyota near Princeton at 3 a.m. central time reporting that 30-year-old Andrew Greenwell had just been terminated and was escorted off the property.

When officers arrived they found Greenwell's vehicle parked in front of the main doors of the plant and Greenwell standing at the doors.

Police say Greenwell was under the influence of an unknown substance. Police found a needle by the roadway.

Greenwell was taken to Gibson General Hospital, where test confirmed Greenwell was under the influence of marijuana, methadone and amphetamines.

He was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle under the influence, unlawful possession of a syringe and trespassing.
