(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was arrested on charges that she made more than $9,000 on credit cards not belonging to her.

Bedford Police officers arrested 50-year-old Kellie Phillips on Friday.

According to a probable cause affidavit, on January 7, a woman related to Phillips told police that $4,000 had been charged to her Sam's Club MasterCard and her Discover Card.

The woman told police she confronted Phillips about the charges and she admitted to using the woman's credit cards without her permission.

Phillips told the woman she would pay her back but never did.

Phillips also stole the woman's identity to secure a Chase credit card in April 2013. Police determined Phillips racked up more than $4,000 in charges on that card.

That woman was not the only target of Phillips.

Another woman related to Phillips told police that on August 2, 2014 she received a call from Citibank regarding charges made on her credit card. Phillips had allegedly made a $900 payment to Marquis Real Estate. A representative from Marquis Real Estate told officers Phillips used a MasterCard with the woman's name on it to make a rental payment, and Phillips claimed she had permission to use it

A number of other fraudulent charges also were made to the card.

The woman told police she talked to Phillips about the charges and she allegedly told the woman she was "going to talk to you about that."

The woman also alleges that on July 20, 2014 Phillips stole some of her jewelry and $50 in cash from her home.
