(JUDAH) - Two people were injured in a crash on Judah Logan Road early Sunday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 30-year-old Catherine Rowe of Springville and her passenger, 49-year-old Rodney Taylor, were returning from Lake Monroe when the accident happened at 12:17 a.m.
Police say both had been drinking.
Taylor told police he was looking at Rowe and the next thing he knew the 2008 Jeep Wrangler had rolled. He told police he was unsure what caused the accident.
Police found beer cans at the accident scene and a cooler of alcoholic beverages.
Taylor complained of hip and chest pain and suffered a laceration to his head. Rowe suffered a possible fractured right wrist.
Rowe submitted to a portable breath test and tested positive for alcohol.
She was taken to Monroe County Hospital for treatment and submitted to a blood draw.
Assisting at the scene was Marshall Volunteer Fire Department first responders and an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.
