Two Arrested After Police Called About Disturbance At Motel

(BEDFORD) - Two people were arrested after Lawrence County Police were called to the Plaza Motel after a report of a disturbance early Saturday morning.

When police arrived they found 20-year-old Ashley Jones of Medora and 38-year-old Tony Cassidy of Mitchell creating that disturbance.

According to Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, officers located meth in the room.

The officers arrested Jones on charges of possession of meth and maintaining a common nuisance. Cassidy was charged with possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance and was wanted on a warrant for petition to revoke probation.
