(SALEM) - A Salem native who graduated this spring from the University of Evansville will return to present a special two-man play Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 7 at 2 p.m.

The play will be performed at the Salem Middle School auditorium and there is no admission. Rather, a free will offering will be accepted at the door with all proceeds going to help renovate Pied Piper's Children's Theatre.

The Salem Democrat reports that Aaron Johnson earned his degree in theater performance from U of E this spring and he's eager to give something back to the community that gave him his start.

Appearing with Johnson in the play will be Daniel Main, Pied Piper director. The play they will perform is "Red," by John Logan. Johnson said the play is about Mark Roscoe, a painter in the 1960s, who hires a young apprentice. The two end up turning each other's worlds upside down.

Sponsors are being sought for the production. A burgundy sponsorship is $50, a carmine sponsorship is $100 and a scarlett sponsorship is $300.
