Petersburg Man Arrested After Breaking Into Home, Hitting Man

(WINSLOW) - A Petersburg man is facing two felony counts burglary after her forced his way into a Winslow home and beating up one of the residents.

According to an Indiana State Police report, 40-year-old Billy Thomas forced his way into the home of his estranged wife 35-year-old Sarah Thomas shortly after 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say Thomas went to a bedroom and began hitting 39-year-old Brent Miller of Petersburg, a friend of Sarah Thomas, who was staying at the home.

Miller suffered a broken nose and facial fractures.

Police later arrested Thomas at his home in Petersburg.
