(MITCHELL) - David A. Hall is seeking election to the Mitchell City Council.
Lawrence County Republican Central Committee Chairwoman Patty Ford filed paperwork To place hall on the November ballot for the at-large seat on the city council. Because no Republicans sought the at-large seat on the council during the primary election, Hall can fill the vacancy on the ballot. Major political parties have until June 30 to fill those vacancies for the Nov. 3 general election.
Hall, who works at Foamcraft and with the Disabled Veterans Wish Foundation, will face off against William "Bill" Arnold, a Democrat was unopposed in the primary election.
