Man Arrested After Drug Task Force Witnesses Two Drug Deals

(BEDFORD) - A man was arrested after the Lawrence County Drug Task Force pulled him over for a traffic violation Wednesday.

Officers pulled over 24-year-old Nicholas Lindsey at the intersection of 10th and N streets at 5:42 p.m. after the task force witnessed Lindsey make two drug deals.

Police searched his vehicle and found almost a half a gram of meth, along with a schedule II and schedule IV controlled substance. They also found a legend drug and a glass smoking device.

Lindsey, who told jail officials he was homeless, is facing felony charges of dealing less than 5 grams of meth, dealing less than 1 gram of meth, two counts of possession of meth, possession of a schedule II and IV substance, possession of a legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
