(BEDFORD) - As a way to honor cancer survivors and remember those who have lost their battle, Relay For Life of Lawrence County organizers and Super Oldies 105.5 WQRK are inviting folks to attend a Night Of Super Heroes on Saturday.
The event kicks off at 4 p.m. at the Parkview Intermediate School track. If Saturday brings inclement weather, the Relay For Life event will be held inside the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence County.
Four million people participated in more than 6,000 events worldwide last year. The funds raised support groundbreaking cancer research, education and prevention programs, and critical services for people facing cancer.
It is not too late for community members to get involved by forming a team or making a donation to help in the battle against cancer.
