Foul Play Suspected In Death Of Man Found In Morgan County

(BROOKLYN) - Police believe the body of a man found in a vehicle in the 4500 block of Centenary Road in Morgan County was murdered.

According to a Morgan County Police Department news release, the identity of the person has not been released, police say it is a black man from the Indianapolis area.

A farmer checking his field found the vehicle around 11 a.m. Wednesday in a stand of trees about 100 yards off the road.

Police say the vehicle had been there for some time.

The Major Crimes Scene Task Force was called to the scene and is conducting the investigation. Police are waiting for the results of an autopsy to confirm identity and cause of death.
