(BEDFORD) - Monday is the deadline to submit applications to participate in the Lawrence County Fair queen contest.
Applications can be picked up at the Purdue Extension office at 924 16th Street., or downloaded online at www.lawrencecountyfairgrounds.org, click on the "Events" link.
Entry forms and the $25 fee must be turned in by close of business on Monday.
Queen contestants must be at least 18 and cannot have reached their 22nd birthday on or before June 1, 2016.
Monday is also the deadline to enter the contests for fair princess and queen's escort. The queen contest will take place July 17 at the fairgrounds.
