(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested on battery charges after he allegedly struck another man in the head.
Lawrence County police arrested 27-year-old Christopher D. Owens of Bedford on Thursday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Owens allegedly struck another man on the head and grabbed him around the throat during a fight. Police say the man complained of head, jaw and neck pain and suffered a scratch to his face.
