(GREENE CO.) - Applications are now being accepted for the 2015 Miss Greene County Pageant.
The Greene County Daily World reports the event will take place at 2 p.m. June 28 at the Greene County Community Building at the 4-H Fairgrounds, is open to Greene County girls ages 16-21. Participants do not have to be a 4-H member to enter. The deadline to enter the contest is June 18.
The winner of the contest will preside over the 2015 Greene County 4-H Fair.
Event organizer Georgetta Daters says there will also be a $500 scholarship awarded to the winner, and there will be cash prizes available for the first and second runners-up.
The competition is set in three phases, including a private interview, evening gown, and professional wear.
