Thunder Over Patoka Fireworks Display
Date: July 4, at 9 pm
Where: Patoka Lake 3084 N. Dillard Road
Admission: $7 for instate vehicles
Event Details: Come enjoy Thunder Over Patoka at Patoka Lake this Independence Day weekend. Fireworks will start from the beach area inside the main entrance (Newton Stewart SRA) at dark on Saturday, July 4. Fireworks can be seen from the beach or on the water in your boat.
Greene County
Bloomfield
Date: July 4 at dusk
Where Bloomfield Park
Activities: A Swing-A-Thon will take place at the park to raise money for new park equipment
Linton Freedom Festival Fireworks
Date: July 4 at 10:30pm
Where: Humphrey's Park at A Street NorthEast and Park Street
Admission: Fireworks are free; some activities/events may include a fee
Event Details: Festival lasts June 27 - July 4. Events include arts & crafts, carnival, live bands, horse-pull, bed races, lip sync contest, Little Miss & Little Mister Linton Contest, Civitan ham & egg breakfast, fireworks display and a parade which means fun for the entire family.
Jackson County
Freetown July Festival Fireworks
Date: July 11 at 10:30pm
Where: Intersection of Indiana Highways 58 and 135 in Freetown.
Admission: Fireworks are free; some events/activities may include a fee
Event Details: Festival lasts July 10-11, and includes events such as the Freetown Free Wheelin' - Anything on Wheels Show, Free Children's Activities, Obstacle Course, Games with great prizes, Food Vendors, Live Music, Festival Committee serving great food: Fish, Hamburgers, Chili & delicious desserts, and fireworks.

Heltonville Fireworks and Festival
Date: Saturday, June 27 at dusk
Where: Ballfield. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m.
Judah Heritage Festival Fireworks
Date: June 27, at 10:15pm
Where: Hillcrest Way in Judah
Activities: Mark and Vicki Judah were selected to serve as the 2015 grand marshals as a show of appreciation for their many years of service to the community. New this year will be carnival rides and a baby contest on Saturday at 1 p.m. on the main stage. Music will fill the air Thursday night with Danny & Rich opening for Sheila Stephen and the Rodeo Monkeys. Friday night will be the Lemon Brothers Band opening for Reece Tanner.The festival will close on Saturday with Cody Ikerd opening for Blue Mafia. A classic car show will fill the lot on Saturday from noon till 3 p.m. The event will finish with a huge firework display on Saturday at 10:15 p.m. The entire schedule of events is available at http://www.judahfestival.com/.
