(WASHINGTON) - An investigation by Washington Police has landed a local man in jail on marijuana possession, nuisance and battery charges.
City police report that 23-year-old Alexander Peterson of Washington was arrested on Friday for battery to a child under 14, battery with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness with a weapon, disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Peterson was also charged with disorderly conduct and maintaining a common nuisance.
He jailed without bond at the Daviess County Security Center.
