Among Indiana schools in the 2015 U.S. News Best High Schools rankings, there are 47 silver medal schools and 94 bronze medal schools. One of Indiana's four gold medal schools and topping the list is Signature School, within the Signature School Inc. School District, roughly 180 miles southwest of the state capitol, Indianapolis.

To determine which schools will earn the Top 10 distinction, U.S. News and World Report looks at how students score and participate on AP exams on math and reading.
