(COLUMBUS) - A Seymour man was arrested after being caught in a stolen car in Columbus.
Columbus Officer Jim Paris and off-duty Brown County Deputy Jimmy Green stopped the vehicle in the 1800 block of National Road at midnight Tuesday.
31-year-old Christopher M. Allman allegedly told police that he found the vehicle with its windows rolled down and its keys in the console about 24 hours earlier.
Allman was arrested on a preliminary charge of auto theft. Two passengers were released at the scene.
