Last updated on Thursday, May 21, 2015

(BEDFORD) - One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Fifth and N streets Wednesday night.

According to a Bedford Police report, 47-year-old Jacqueline Thompson of Springville was traveling south on N Street in a 2006 Chevrolet HHR and had stopped to cross Fifth Street and processed forward striking a 2010 Nissan driven by 46-year-old Robert Cline of Heltonville.

Thompson told police she became choked and had asked her passenger for a drink and the next thing she realized was her vehicle had struck the Nissan. She told police she couldn't remember what happened, but she must have pulled out in front of the other vehicle.

Thompson and her passenger, who was not named in the accident report, were not injured.

Cline complained of neck pain and was checked by IU Health Hospital ambulance paramedics at the scene.
